Il bassista italiano Marco Castelli, lascia col suo Soloalbum
Basso Continuo il suo biglietto da visita nella nostra redazione, la quale
definisce Basso Continuo come un bouquet colorito di vari stili.
A prima vista sembra un cd Hardrock, ma lalbum impressiona per un arco di generi che va dalla Funk-Fusion conforme a Marcus-Miller (Before The Night is Gone) passando dai Numeri-Latini pop (Picture From Magritte) e dalle Classiche-Adattazioni infiltrate negli anni 80 (Bachman!!!) per arrivare alla Rock fusion con impronta LA (The
Tightropewalker).
Lottimo suono del basso di Castelli sta sempre al centro dellattenzione, a ragione, durante tutte le nove canzoni, perch questuomo sa ci che fa (cio suonare).
Come se non bastasse si presenta anche come responsabile/esecutore delle eccellenti tracce di chitarra, di tastiere e drums programmig.

The italian bass player Marco Castelli with his Soloalbum
Basso Continuo leaves his visit card in our editorial office which defines
Basso Continuo as a coloured bouquet of different styles.
Initially it seems to be a Hardrock CD but this album impressions for a range of styles going from the Funk-Fusion of Marcus-Miller (Before the Night is gone) through Latin-Numbers pop (Picture from Magritte) and Classic-Adaptations infiltrated during the 80s (Bachman!!!) to ROCK FUSION with LA stamp (The Tightropewalker).
The excellent sound of Castellis bass stays always, rightly, in the middle of the attention during all nine songs because this man knows what he is doing (namely play music).
Not being sufficient he presents himself as responsible/executor of the excellent guitar, keybord tracks and drums programming.
Extraordinary. Thanks Marco!
